I Left New Zealand and Moved To…
…The USA! For three months! Everyone I run into keeps asking me the same series of questions? What are you doing? Where is all of your stuff? Where are you living?
After a year and a half living in one of the world’s most beautiful lands (says the girl who has so much more to see), I decided to head back to my homeland for Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere. After missing out on the New England holiday season with my loved ones last year, I was dead set on being present this year. Thanksgiving road race! Smoked turkey! Cozy fires and red wine! White Christmas! How could I not?
I surprised my family on my “short visit” with the news that I would actually be sticking around until Christmas! Excited celebrations ensued (with a lot of red wine, of course). After a little visit with my family, my best friends’ wedding, my first half marathon, an exciting New England Patriots game and some much needed down time, I have hit the open American roads in a bright blue jeep. This time I have an Englishman with me.
To be continued…
