The Best Pizza in Florence

During my nine days in Italy, I ate a lot a pizza. A lot. I’m talking once a day, minimum. My Italian diet consisted of pizza, pasta, gelato, and wine.  It sounds cliché, but totally necessary.  While in beautiful Florence, a friend of a friend studying abroad there led us to the best pizza place in town, Gusta Pizza.  After all the hype, the food did not disappoint.

On the side of the Ponte Vecchio deemed less touristy, this amazing, authentic restaurant has the best pizza in the city.  The restaurant is famous for making super cute heart-shaped pies for the female customers.  It’s just a short walk from the Piazza dei Pitti and open every day of the week except for Monday.  Gusta Pizza is must-go if you’re in Florence and looking for delicious food!  So please order yourself a pizza and bring one back for me.
