Reviewing 2015: Where I Traveled This Year
I was very fortunate this year to travel both around the US and internationally despite being a full-time student and working. Before I jump head first into 2016, here’s a review of where I traveled this year.
Delaware, USA
I traveled with my volleyball team to University of Delaware and my brother came to see me play.
Cancun, Mexico
Spring break was spent with five fun days in some of the bluest waters under the blazing sun in March.
Kansas City, Missouri, USA
My volleyball team made it to Nationals again this year and we came in 9th in the country.
Across Gampel for my degree
I got my bachelor’s degree!!
Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard, USA
My first visit to Martha’s Vineyard was so much fun. It rained the entire time I was there except for the very last day.
Mattapoisett, Massachusetts, USA
We took a short road trip to Mattapoisett with the top down to enjoy the sun, the ocean, and some seafood.
Galway City, Ireland
Galway City marked my first day of seven weeks abroad by myself. I love this street!
Carraroe/An Cheathrù Rua, Ireland
I spend one month in An Cheathrù Rua learning the Irish language and living with an Irish family.
Read A Charming Seaside Irish Town
The Aran Islands, Ireland
The water here is as blue as the Caribbean and the island is so green.
Cork City, Ireland
I wasn’t a fan of Cork, but I didn’t get to make it out of the city at all.
Wexford Town, Ireland
Wexford Town was a completely spontaneous stopover as it’s on the road from Cork to Dublin. I could not have been more delighted at how beautiful this town is and how kind the people are.
Pula, Croatia
I’m already brainstorming how to get myself back to Croatia to see the rest of the country, but Pula was a very good first taste. The coastline is something out of a magazine.
Brussels, Belgium
I did not even spend a full day here as I was stopping over on my way to Budapest. The land of chocolate.
Read 7 Hours in Brussels
Budapest, Hungary
I am in love with Budapest forever and it’s my mission to make everyone I know realize how much they need to visit this city. Book your flight now.
Read Essential Budapest: Budapest for First-Timers
Vienna, Austria
The London of the east in my opinion. Everything in Vienna felt high class and I loved it.
Prague, Czech Republic
My last international city. Prague is stunning and I’m desperate to get back and meet more locals.
New York, USA
Two of my best friends live in NYC so I took a short train ride to visit them and finally try Cookie Do.
Home Sweet Home
Though my feet are restless and my wanderlust uncontrollable, there’s no place like home.
2015 was an amazing year full of adventures and I’m ready to see what 2016 has to offer.
Beautiful! Congratulations on your volleyball trophies and, of course, your degree! Hope 2016 brings you even more amazing trips!
aw thank you so much!
It seems like 2015 was an amazing year for you! It’s pretty much my mission in life to tell people how incredible Budapest is too. I can’t wait to go back there. And to Prague! Looking forward to seeing where you’ll travel to in 2016!
I’m so excited for you to go back there too! And thanks! I cannot wait to read about all of your amazing trips.
