My primary drive behind creating this blog is because I love to travel and I love to read. My main goal in life is to spend the rest of my life reading books in beautiful places and recording those experiences.  I’m always looking forward toward my next adventure and seeking out the best spot to sit down to enter another world.  Those that know me well know that aside from traveling the world the number one item on my bucket list is to read 1000 books.  Half a dozen British benches have provided comfort for me to read The Picture of Dorian Gray and every walking break in Budapest was spent gazing in awe around myself and consuming a chapter of A Farewell to Arms. I always make time to read on my travels.

The world of books is one I live in daily.  It’s beautiful, enchanting, depressing, hard, insightful and open-minded.  Similarly, leaving home and trekking to a new place across the globe conjures up the same feelings.  It’s empowering.  Both feed the mind with vivid imagery and memories and new hopes and ideas.  Regularly I hear people say they wish they had the time to read or the time to travel.  Make time.  It’s so worth it.  I can’t stop, won’t stop, and I hope that I can inspire other people to see our world, feed their minds, and do everything possible to make their souls happy.
